10 Bible Verses for Prayer and Meditation in 2021
This week (well, way longer than this past week) has revealed some scary cracks in our nation, symptoms of sin deeply rooted in the humanity of it’s citizens. As Christ followers, it is easy to become fearful just like every other human but our trust is in something greater than an earthly nation, her citizens or the circumstances of our planet. This coming year requires strong intentionality to stay focused on God and his word that regardless of the circumstances, we stand firm in who our God is and His gospel for which we are primarily here to prosper. It is not for our prosperity but for the prosperity of the gospel even unto our personal persecution and sacrifice. God’s work in not denominational or political and it knows no boundaries or walls or earthly treaties. He did not die for one kind of man but for all human kind. I pray for all of us and hold firm to God’s word that while many voices vie for my attention, none holds my attention more than that of Jesus Christ.
